I'm linking up again with Tara from 4th Grade Frolics to share what I've been doing this week. I love the things that I have seen on other blogs, and this linky party is encouraging me to get things done!
I used a tri-fold display to make a response board. Each of those globes have student numbers on them. The intent is to have the students answer a question in one of the subjects on a post it note, and then stick it on their globe on the way out the door.
I love the idea that was floating around on Pinterest with having a positive affirmation mirror that students can use. I tell them all the time that they are smart - but they need to believe it.
Another thing is a triple to do list. I used my triple frame and broke up my to do list into 3 categories.
Prep and Copy: Things I need to prepare
Plan and Grade: Things I need to write and grade
Take and Go: Errands I need to run either around school to drop stuff off, or places I need to go to get stuff
The back colored lines came from Kristen at Ladybug's Teacher Files CRAFT Board Headers set.
I've done other things this week as well, but they have been more paperwork type of things. My husband laminated over 130 business card sized things for me to finish up my Homeworkopoly game from Ladybug Teacher Files, and he got my Ticket store prizes ready from Teaching in Room 6. I think the actual Ticket Store organizer will hang up in my closet (my Dollar Store find), and only the options will hang up in the classroom.
On another note, am I the only one that takes over the dining room table during summer vacation? It's the only place to spread out and be crafty around here with my 3 boys running all over. Thanks for visiting me! I hope this helped you in some way.
